This post will mark a little change. I started this blog nearly one year ago, one of many reasons was that I wanted to improve my English skills.

But as I found out that parts of my family would rather follow my blog in German than in English, and as family is extremely important to me, I decided to write in German as well from now on. So this is my first bilingual post – I hope my English speaking followers will stay with me, nevertheless, because I am really happy about every single one of you!

I know I announced yesterday to reveal today what fantastic prize I won, but I want to defer it till tomorrow again because I have been planning this post for some time now and finally wanted to get it done. So now it is done and I am really excited to see where this change will lead this blog.

So, dies ist also mein erster Post sowohl in Englisch als auch in Deutsch. Ich habe vor ungefähr einem Jahr angefangen, diesen Blog zu schreiben, unter anderem, weil ich meine Englischkenntnisse verbessern wollte.

Allerdings hat sich mit der Zeit herausgestellt, dass Teile meiner Familie meinem Blog lieber auf Deutsch folgen würden, und da es mir natürlich wichtig ist, dass meine ganze Familie mitbekommt worüber ich hier so schreibe, gibt es higgledy-piggledy Wonderland ab jetzt auch auf Deutsch!

Ich weiß, ich habe gestern angekündigt, dass ich heute verraten werde, was ich wahnsinnig Tolles gewonnen habe, aber weil ich diesen Post schon so lange geplant hatte, musste ich ihn einfach vorziehen. Morgen verrate ich dann wirklich, worüber ich mich gestern so gefreut habe, dass ich prompt ein kleines Freudentänzchen auf der Straße aufgeführt habe!

Ich bin gespannt, in welche Richtung sich mein Blog entwickeln wird, ob sich nichts ändert oder ob sich vielleicht irgendwann der Schwerpunkt in die eine oder andere Richtung verschiebt. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall sehr darauf, ab jetzt auch auf Deutsch zu schreiben.
